Alton Tinker As the founder and co-host of SOUP, Tinker takes professional networking and community involvement very seriously. He serves on the board of trustees for Lutheran Housing Corporation. Tinker is also Past President of the Cleveland Chapter of the National Black MBA, and Past President of Esprit "The Ultimate" Ski & Sports Club, the largest African American ski club in Ohio. Alton was elected as Councilman for Ward 3 in the City of Bedford Heights, Ohio in 2003. Alton was featured in the September 2003 issue of Inside Business Magazine as “The One to Watch.” Alton was also listed in the 2004 inaugural issue of “Who’s Who in Black Cleveland.” Donna Dabbs Many have called Donna an energetic and engaging person dedicating her time, passion and commitment to encouraging others to achieve. As one of the co-host of SOUP, Donna is committed to actively engaging other professionals to join the network and contribute to building a strong community for Greater Cleveland. Donna was also the President of the Urban League of Greater Cleveland Young Professionals during its initial formation, she help launch the organization and grow from an initial group of 17 to a connected community of 75 members. Donna volunteers her time with Dress for Success Cleveland (DFS) as a personal shopper, and as a Professional Women’s Group (PWG) guest speaker, and a mentor to several young women. Jacinda Walker Jacinda Walker is founder and director of the learning design studio, Inerge Impacts,LLC. Inerge Impacts is the ultimate expression of Jacinda’s creativity and reflects her greatest loves—design and teaching. Jacinda is in her fifth year as Graphic Designer of the Cleveland Municipal School District. As an established power networker, Jacinda participates with Society of Urban Professionals (SOUP) as a SOUP @Nite co-host, Jacinda believes that “participation is the key to success.” Jacinda’s years of experience, passion for design and desire to interact with other creative professionals, has become valuable asset in her life. Janelle Riley Janelle is firmly rooted in Cleveland and takes an active role in contributing to the city’s success. Early in Janelle’s professional career, she realized the benefits of building relationships with motivated and driven people. In SOUP, she saw the perfect avenue to facilitate networking and has steadily increased her involvement with the organization since joining. Janelle is a co-host for the “SOUP@Night” events and has placed a vital emphasis on growing the attendance. She is a graduate from John Carroll University and currently is employed at KeyBank, in Wealth Management. Janelle volunteers with the Junior Achievement Program and 100Black Men of Greater Cleveland.
