Assists with all aspects of promo/mktg campaigns and special events, assists with development of technology marking concepts; supports mktg staff with special event/promotions; writes and assists with weekly press releases and feature articles; writes and designs advertisements (flyers & collateral advertising materials); assists with media relations as assigned, and maintains records and databases. Qual: BA degree pref. or must be enrolled in BA degree program in Pub. Rel., Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing or rel. fields. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and editing ability. Demonstrated experience in promo campaigns and organizing special events. Ability to manage multiple projects, solve problems and meet deadlines. Excellent computer skills in word processing, web based software, database programs, and desktop publishing sys. Media relations exp and understanding helpful. Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings as req.
